Con Edison Invites You to a Seminar on
Understanding Your Bill and Energy Savings Tips
Rising fuel costs have had the biggest impact on your Con Edison bill. Many of you are asked to explain the increased supply cost to your constituents without quite understanding it yourself. We have decided to hold a short seminar to explain the bill and the difference between supply and delivery charges, and to provide some energy savings tips that you can share with your constituents (and use at home!)
The seminar will be held on Monday, August 18 at Con Edison headquarters, 4 Irving Place, New York, NY in the "Edison Room" from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served.
The building does not have parking available, and street parking is limited. Your best transportation option is to take the subway. The building is served by the 4, 5, 6, L, N, Q, R and W trains. Please use the Union Square/14th Street station. Please arrive early and bring photo I.D. as you will be required to obtain a security pass to enter the facility. The reception area is located before the security gates.
Please RSVP by Thursday, August 14 to email@example.com.
Please visit us on the Web for energy savings information and to sign up for e*bill, our “green” billing option at www.coned.com. The New York Times recently printed a graphic on the basics of the bill, which you can find at:
