The Village of Rye Brook and the Blind Brook Community Coalition are sponsoring a Blood Drive to bring awareness to the drug epidemic. The American Red Cross - Greenwich Hospital - St. Vincent's Hospital - the Westhcester County Health Department and The Rye Brook DARE officers are all participating. NARCAN training classes will be held in how to administer and NARCAN kits will be distributed to elegible people. If you can save just one life - the training is worth it and by giving blood, you could save more than 1 person!
So come to our Blood Drive - bring your kids - learn together the dangers of drug use and learn how to spot the warning signs.....get trained....give blood.....save lives!!
The drive will be held at the Anthony J. Posillipo Center at 32 Garibaldi Place in Rye Brook from 2pm to 7pm on Wednesday June 6th. Literature will be available for distribuition throughout the Blood Drive.
