Night Work         Traffic loop installations and permanent striping (M-F).

As indicated above, NYSDOT has decided to perform the milling and paving & related work in the evenings which will help with traffic but will be disruptive at night as the work can be loud and the lights will be bright.  Night work will occur from 8:00 P.M. through 6:00 A.M. from Sunday nights through Saturday mornings.  At least one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Residents with any questions should contact the NYSDOT Office at (914) 722-6512.

Note: The Village of Rye Brook's contractor will be finishing the modification of the traffic island area at the end of North Ridge Street at King Street during the day on May 10th.

New Traffic Patterns on King Street over the Hutch/Merritt Parkway:

At the request of the Village of Rye Brook and with agreement from the Town of Greenwich, the State is also establishing a new road striping pattern on King Street over the Hutch/Merritt Parkways.  These changes will involve establishing turning lanes in both directions.  This work also involves some changes to the center island and striping at end of North Ridge Street where it meets King Street so that the lanes match up on both roadways.
