"Cerebral Palsy of Westchester Unveils Kiyoko Brown Lekotek Center-

 First of its Kind in New York State"


Event: Cerebral Palsy of Westchester (CP/W) is pleased to announce the unveiling of the Kiyoko Brown Lekotek Center located at the CP/W campus in Rye Brook, NY.  The Lekotek Center is the first of its kind in the State of New York and the Metropolitan Tri-State Area.  The opening of the Lekotek center will be announced at the 2nd Annual Caring Friends Breakfast to be held on January 31, 2007.  CVS/pharmacy Charitable Trust will be in attendance to present CP/W with a generous donation towards the center.  Additionally there will be a Lekotek Open House to take place on February 10, 2007. The open house will offer the public a chance to learn about and explore this exciting new program.


The Kiyoko Brown Lekotek Center at CP/W offers its services to children ages eight and under and their families.  The mission of Lekotek is to use interactive play with adaptive toys and technology and the learning that results, to promote the inclusion of children with special needs into family and community life.

                        Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 8:30am -10:00am.

Lekotek Open House                                                                          

Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

      Cerebral Palsy of Westchester 1186 King Street, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
