Library - Upcoming Programs

Pajama Read Aloud at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library

The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library will celebrate National Library Week with a Pajama Read Aloud on Tuesday, April 30th from 6:30-7:15pm for Ages 4 and Up.  Special guests from the community will be reading stories aloud to the children.  Children are invited to wear their pajamas.  For more information, please call (914) 939-6710 and Press #3.

Singalongs with Chloe

Babies, toddlers and preschoolers will have fun with songs, instruments, bubbles & more! This program will be held at 11:30am on Saturdays, May 4, 11 & 18.  No pre-registration is required. For more information, call the Children’s Room at (914) 939-6710 and Press #3.  This program is being sponsored with support from the Westchester Library System and Con Ed.

 

 

Toddler Time with Ms. Tee

"Toddler Time with Ms. Tee” for ages 2-3 years is on Wednesdays at 9:30am. (Note:  New Time) Classes will be held on Wednesdays, January 23 & 30, February 6, 13 & 27, March 6, 13, 20 & 27, April 3, 10 & 24, May 1 & 8.  Parents and children will participate with fingerplays, songs, stories, musical instruments and other related parent child activities.  Pre-Registration is required starting Monday, January 14th  by phone (914)939-6710 Press #3 or in person at the library

Preschoolers with Ms. Tee

Sing, Dance and Have Fun with Dawny Dew

The Friends of the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library Membership Drive

In celebration of National Library Week (April 7-13), we would like to invite you to become a member of the Friends of the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library and join us in supporting the continued success of the library.

Westchester Community College ESL Classes at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library

Registration Date: Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at 9:30am

Classes will be Wednesday and Friday mornings 9:15am-12:15pm. Classes begin Friday, May 10th and end Wednesday, July 31st. Cost for the course is $20 and books will be purchased on the first day of class. For more information please call 914-606-5656.

Evan Weiner will be at the library to discuss 1969 and how that year changed the world. He will speak about Richard Nixon, the moon landing, the Miracle Mets, and many more topics
